As consumers adapt to the ‘new normal’ of spending more time at home than in pubs, restaurants and bars, premium drinks distributer Mangrove UK is developing new partnerships and routes to market to ensure customers can buy their favourite brands to enjoy at home. According to the latest Office of National Statistics retail sales survey, ecommerce spending as a proportion of all retail sales reached a record high in April at 30.7%, with Mintel predicting that online grocery shopping wil grow by around 33% in 2020.
Mangrove has a flourishing relationship with Virgin Wines established and they already successfully stock popular Mangrove spirits: Belenkaya Vodka, Elephant Strength Gin, Elements 8 Platinum Rum, Black Cow Vodka and La Hechicera Reserva Familiar Rum.
From this week, Virgin Wines will list an additional ten spirits including popular whiskies, vodka and cognac.

Louis Royer VSOP Cognac and GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 8 Single Malt Whisky will also become available during June.
