A Pot Still inspired whisky, using Torrified Oats, the term given to grain that has been roasted/parched in the malting process. Resulting in light and creamy dram.

Nose:
Sweet buttered toffee popcorn with vanilla. Fresh peaches, grapefruit and lemon rind. Also light notes of aniseed, cloves and cinnamon spice.

Taste:
Rich, creamy palate. Sweet, spicy and dry. The popcorn comes through as does the vanilla. Also, brandy snap biscuits with a slight nutty character.

Awards:
Jim Murray 2020 Whisky Bible
“For the record, by far the best Pot Still I have ever encountered made outside Irelands shores”
96.5/100 points

We at The English Whisky Co. mature some of our fine single malt whiskies in Pedro Ximenez Sherry Casks. These casks are full of beautiful rich dark sherry before we take delivery, so we decided to take the sherry as well as it is too lovely to leave behind. Since arriving at St. George’s we added some of our single malt to it and left it in the casks to continue maturing. We believe that the resulting drink is a wonderful fortified wine, that makes a superb drink for many occasions.

Take 2 shots of PX over Ice, top up with Ginger Ale & add a Wedge of Lime.
