Origin

Created with bartenders in mind and designed to be mixed, the Portobello Road Gin family all use the same nine botanicals from around the world.

Portobello Road No. 171 London Dry Gin
Portobello Road Gin has a generous slug of juniper and a sustained, fresh citrus character from the use of lemon, bitter orange and coriander. This then develops into a sweet peppery finish, achieved using liquorice and nutmeg.

Portobello Road Navy Strength Gin
This navy gin is a punchier and more flavourful version of Portobello Road’s signature dry gin. It is bottles at 57.1% ABV and is seasoned with a small amount of English sea salt, resulting in a subtle yet distinct maritime essence.

Portobello Road Celebrated Butter Gin
A more viscous liquid with the juniper and coriander seed amplified on the palate, matched with the subtle and delicate floral and spice notes. It has a long, pleasant juniper finish with hints of spices.

Portobello Road Old Tom Gin
This Old Tom Gin pays homage to what we think gin would’ve been before its transformation took place. Portobello take a pot-distilled grain spirit and redistill it with juniper, coriander seed and liquorice root, before adding a little sugar and then ageing in a very old sherry barrel. It perfectly balances the punch of the juniper with the lingering sweetness of the barrel ageing process.

Portobello Road Temperance
Temperance Spirit is a lower-alcohol choice for those who want to moderate their alcohol intake without losing the flavour of gin. Using the same botanicals as Portobello Road Gin, Temperance has a well-balanced flavour of warm botanicals, juniper and citruses. Use this spirit as a replacement for any gin cocktail for a less boozy way of enjoying a good drink.

Portobello Road Sloeberry & Blackcurrant
To create Portobello Road Sloe & Blackcurrant Gin a botanically intense version of our classic London Dry Gin is distilled and then blended with sloe berries foraged from the wilds of Burgundy, a French blackcurrant liqueur, an Italian cherry liqueur, and a little sugar. Everything is then rested in ex-whiskey barrels at our home, The Distillery, on London’s iconic Portobello Road.
