Origin

Created in 1853 by its founder, Louis Royer is an award-winning distillery located on the banks of the Charente River in Jarnac, France, which has been producing Cognac for the past 150 years.
The bee represents the values of the house, the symbol of diligence, an efficient and lively organisation and true craftsmanship.
Like his father and grandfather, Louis Royer was a nature enthusiast. He passed down his great passion for bees through the generations and his successors have kept bees all their lives. He therefore naturally chose the bee as the company’s emblem when it was founded in 1853.

The VS expression from Louis Royer, who have been producing Cognac from their premises on the banks of the Charente River since 1853, is young but surprisingly mellow and flavourful.
