Since 1887, Habitation Clément has been producing Rhums Agricole of great quality in the purest tradition and according to the rules inherited by the founder Homère and his son Charles Clément. The brand is now an integral part of the history of the island and of the people of Martinique !
Rhum Agricole from Martinique is distilled from pure sugarcane juice and produced according to the strict rules of the French AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée), testifying the premium quality and unique terroir of Martinique rum production.

Fresh sugarcane is pressed then fermented and distilled to preserve natural aromas and flavours of terroir and the natural vegetal character of the sugarcane. 100% made from the aromatic free-run juice of sugarcane, not molasses.

The Rhum Blanc Clément is the perfect expression of a true un-aged Rhum Agricole from Martinique.
Clear, with nice flower and cane flavours, it is perfectly adapted for Ti’Punch and a wide variety of cocktails.

* Proud of our origin: Our unaged white rhum agricole is produced from the distillation of pure fresh sugar cane juice and benefits from an “Appelation d’Origine Contrôlée” only given to the best of Martinique’s rhums, a testimony itself of its quality.

“* Our process: The pure sugarcane juice, called “Vésou” fermented for 24 to 36 hours in open-air vats at the distillery.
The wine obtained by fermentation of the pure sugarcane juice, is distilled at 75° maximum (according to the AOC rules) in order to preserve most of the natural aromas.
All of it in respect of Martinique’s purest traditions.”

* PROUD OF OUR ORIGIN: This Rhum Agricole Ambré, is the result from the distillation of pure sugarcane juice, matured 12 to 24 months in oak casks. It is an “amber” rum with an “Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée” (Controlled Designation of Origin), a testimony itself of its quality.

“* OUR PROCESS: The sugarcane juice, called “”””Vésou”””” fermented for 24 to 36 hours in open-air vats at the distillery.
The wine obtained by fermenting pure sugarcane juice, is then distilled at 75° maximum (according to Martinique AOC rules ) in order to maintain a maximum of aromas and then rests for 1 to 2 years in oak vats at Habitation Clément.”

Rhum Old Fashioned
– 6 cl Clément V.S.O.P
– 0,5 cl sparkling water
– 3 Bitters Angostura drops
– 1 sugar cube
– Ice cubes
– 1 Orange zest
Place the sugar cube in the glass and pour in the bitters.
Pour in the sparkling water and crush until the sugar melts.
Add the rum and ice cubes, then stir.

Clement XO is a rare blend of very old aged rums including the highly regarded vintages of 1976, 1970 and 1952, which have been recognized to be the finest ever in Martinique. Each vintage brings to the bottle spice, toffee and tobacco flavours. Wonderfully deep, sweet, not overly woody with spicy fruitcake and Cassius root and saddle leather. Toffee, honey, mulling spice, vanilla from the oak round out the edges. Finish gets a nit sweeter with notes of demerara sugar and maple preceding a silky smooth conclusion of dark dried fruit, tarragon and a fair dose of drying oak.

Clement cuvee homere is the top of the Cellar Master’s Selection Series and features the highest rated vintage rums of the last fifteen years aged in French limousin barriques and re-charred bourbon barrels. Each vintage brings its own unique flavour profile, which makes cuvee homere one of our more complex rums with tremendous flavour and a long lasting finish. Aromas of warm biscuits and almond butter continue to evolve into baking spice. Nice viscous clarified butter mouth feel delivers flavours of pemmican fruits, hazlenuts, chocolate and a peppery oak complexity around the edges. The finish is highly nuanced and textured, wood notes with fruit, tarragon, liquorice root, floral notes, then and a dry sweet brine for several minutes.

RHUM CLÉMENT CARAFE ELIXIR. RHUM AGRICOLE APPELLATION MARTINIQUE CONTRÔLÉE. Our Carafe Elixir is composed of three Rhums Vieux Agricoles, each aged in a different barrel. They aged for 6 years in American red barrels, old bourbon barrels and new French oak barrels. PROCESS The Cuvée Elixir reveals a Rhum Vieux that is both rich and delicate, powerful and fine. Generous and bold, it reveals woody and spicy notes (cinnamon), notes of dried fruits (dates) and candied fruits, as well as greedy notes of gingerbread and mocha.
