This is Arette A family legacy, rooted in the heartland of Jalisco. Since 1900.
Intro to the brand
Arette takes its name from a legend. The Mexican horse Arette, ridden by General Humberto Mariles, won Mexico’s first Olympic medals – becoming a national symbol of excellence, pride, and championship. The Orendain family chose that name deliberately. Every bottle carries the same weight of history.
Behind the brand are brothers Eduardo and Jaime Orendain, Master Distillers whose family has been crafting tequila for five generations at the historic El Llano Distillery. Built in 1900 at the foot of the Tequila volcano, the distillery draws on mineral-rich volcanic spring water – and on a traditional family recipe that has never left the Orendain hands.
