Mangrove has been appointed as UK distributor for the fifth-generation, family-run tequila Arette, bringing the exquisite liquid to the UK’s ever-increasing number of agave lovers.
Named after the Olympic show-jumping horse, Arette is steeped in the legacy of the Orendain family and pulls from the rich landscape of the namesake town, Tequila, in the heart of the Jalisco. The family’s El Llano Distillery is one of the oldest in the region, pulling mineral water from the nearby volcanic springs and using blue weber agave from their very own local farm.
The Clasico Blanco Tequila is twice distilled using 100% agave, 38% ABV, with no additives. The unique treatment of the agave gives the resulting liquid creamy aromas, with classic vegetal notes on the palate and hints of blossom. For a silver tequila, it’s bursting with character and for this reason has garnered a stellar reputation with the great and the good of the UK on-trade. Sip it neat or use it to elevate Palomas and Margaritas with the true taste of Mexican tequila.
