Premium drinks importer and distributer, Mangrove UK, is helping UK consumers make the most of this summer’s focus on outdoor living by launching El Bandarra Al Fresco, the natural and refreshing aperitif from Barcelona.
Developed by twins Alex and Albert Virgili, El Bandarra Al Fresco delivers a refreshing, bittersweet aperitif drink that prides itself on its natural wine base, created at the family-owned Casa Berger winery in Barcelona. This latest expression builds on the demand and desire for a longer serve, meeting the drinking habits of the UK consumer.
This delicious craft aperitif combines high quality garnacha wines with natural Mediterranean botanicals. Cherry red in colour, it offers notes of liquorice, fresh herbs and mint, with a bitter grapefruit, citrus and rose petals background.
Al Fresco has been in development for the last 12 months, with a signature serve of 1 part Al Fresco, 2 parts tonic, with an orange garnish targeting the pre-dinner drinking moment of consumption. Following the success of the Rojo, Blanco & Rosé vermouth range, El Bandarra Al Fresco looks to complete the set by offering the total Barcelona drinking experience.
