With a wealth of experience behind the bar, Sammie Cox joins the Team Purple sales team as Account Manager for the North West. She will be based in and around Manchester with a focus on independent venues for premium distributer Mangrove UK.
Relatively new to the drinks industry, Sammie started out two years ago at one of Manchester’s most eclectic and inspired venues, Acane Cocktail Bar. She began work as Bartender and was soon promoted to Head Bartender, during this time she gained lots of invaluable insight and experience into the industry, as well as developing a great network in the Manchester scene. Her energy and attitude really impressed the team at Mangrove who were looking to recruit in this key territory. Her role will help develop relationships with independent bars, restaurants and nightclubs, which will be critical as they are able to re-open to their full capacity and extended hours later this month.
